Audiobook Resources

While we have plenty of read aloud in our family, we love audiobooks, too!

With audiobooks, I can fill my children’s lives with much more literature than I would be able to by only reading books out loud to them.

We love audiobooks to be accessible to our kids so that they can listen to stories whenever they want to. We do this with our Yoto players!

Our children have The Chronicles of Narnia set of Yoto cards. It’s how they listen to The Horse and His Boy!

You can find this set of Yoto cards with this link here.

Don’t have a Yoto player and still wish to listen to the audiobooks? Take a look at this audiobook here!

Sightings of Scripture

Those familiar with The Chronicles of Narnia know that there are many parallels of Scripture in the books.

The Horse and His Boy is no different!

This quote is of Aslan making many “I was” statements.

After reading these statements, your child will practice writing all of the “I am” statements found in the Gospel of John.

What are your child’s thoughts on this comparison? How are each of the statements similar? How are they different?

    1. Hello, Abby!! I’m not always consistent where I put my automations for my freebies, unfortunately 😅 This particular form is at the very bottom, right above “Similar Posts”. It’s titled “Get The Horse and His Boy Printable!” I hope that helps! Please feel free to email me and I can send it to you directly if you still run into trouble!

      1. hi, it is still not there on my end. is it possible there could be a setting on your end making these links hidden to any viewer? i’ve looked on your other pages and still don’t see the links where you’ve told other commenters where they are. one other thought- i’m using my phone to access your website, not a desktop. do you think for some reason the links aren’t viewable from a phone user? i haven’t checked for your links using my computer yet.

        1. Hi, love! Nothing on my end, but it’s possible you could have some extra security settings on your computer! I would be happy to email this to you personally. I’ll send you The Horse and His boy — please respond to my email and let me know if there is anything else I can send you!
