Audiobook Resources

Our family loves audiobooks!

Each of our children have their own Yoto player. This allows them to listen to audiobooks whenever they like!

Our kids have The Chronicles of Narnia as Yoto cards.

They listen to The Silver Chair on their Yoto players!

(and of course, these activities can be completed by just reading the book/without the audiobook!)

This quiz should be done only after reading (or listening to) the story.

For younger children, you can read this quiz to them! It’s sure to engage them in more discussion about the book!

The quiz covers the big picture of the book, and stays short enough to keep these activities from being too intense/stressful.

Sightings of Scripture

Scripture parallels are found all over The Chronicles of Narnia.

The Silver Chair is filled with them!

It’s easy to get lost in this particular book in the series looking at all the various parallels.

In this activity, your child will explore some of the “big ones!”

To make this activity more hands on and fun, they’ll need some scissors and glue.

(Younger children should have an adult help with cutting!)

Cut out each Bible verse.

Then, glue each verse to the part of the story that it closely resembles.

Help your child learn to spell and read some of these important names and words from The Silver Chair with this word search.
