The Last Battle is C.S. Lewis’s final book in The Chronicles of Narnia.

It was published in 1956, and the seventh book in The Chronicles of Narnia series.

Below you will find some free printable activities for The Last Battle!

These activities are both educational and fun — with a combination of worksheets, cut-and-glue hand on learning, and a word search!

I love to give my children audiobooks to listen to, with activities to work on while and after they listen to the story!

This packet of activities is designed just for that — this laid-back approach to learning brings such an extra dose of enjoyment for your child!

Let’s take a closer look at what’s in this printable.

Then, you can print it for FREE at the bottom of the page!

Audiobook Recordings

We love our Yoto players!

My kids love the Chronicles of Narnia set of Yoto cards — that’s how they listen to these stories!

Yoto players are audiobook (and music) players for children.

No internet, no ads, no screens.

We use ours a LOT.

These activities work great in companion with the Chronicles of Narnia Yoto cards!

Don’t have a Yoto player? No worries! These activities still work well with the book, or with any audiobook recording!

You can find a not-yoto-player audiobook recording HERE.

Multiple Choice Quiz

This multiple choice quiz is a great way to help your child remember all they have just read (or listened to!) in The Last Battle!

After your child reads or listens to the story, see how much they can remember!

The quiz can be read out loud to younger children.

Sightings of Scripture

This is a 2-page activity where your child will learn about the comparisons between The Last Battle and Scripture.

In the first part of this activity, your child will cut out Bible verses and glue them on the Narnian timeline of where C.S. Lewis was likely to have drawn his inspiration from.

In the second part of the activity, you will have the opportunity to discuss with your child the differences found in the book, in comparison to what is found in the Bible about our own “last battle.”

Because families will have their own answers for such a big question, I have only provided suggestions for comparisons below.

Possible answers for the differences found between the final days of Earth and the final days of Narnia can include: lack of a Narnian catching away, no 1,000 year millennial kingdom, no seven year period.

Word Search

I adore word searches for children!

Word searches help teach reading and spelling.

In this Narnian themed word search, your child will practice reading and spelling names, words, and themes from The Last Battle!
