Prince Caspian was published in 1951 by C.S. Lewis.

While it was the second book published, it is considered book 4 in The Chronicles of Narnia.

Below you will find some free printable activities to use for Prince Caspian!

Let’s take a look at what’s included in this printable. Then, print it at the bottom of the page!

Audiobook Recordings

My kids love to listen to The Chronicle of Narnia on their Yoto players!

Yoto players are audiobook and music players for kids.

No internet. No ads. We really love our Yoto players.

With their Yoto players, they can listen to stories day and night, as long as they want!

It allows me to give them so much more literature in their life than by just read-alouds alone!

If you’re interested in The Chronicles of Narnia Yoto cards to pair with these free printables, you can find them here!

If you don’t have a Yoto player and an audiobook recording still sounds lovely, you can find one here!

Multiple Choice Quiz

After your child reads or listens to Prince Caspian, see how much they can remember about the story!

This multiple choice quiz covers the entire book, but stays to a length that won’t overwhelm even the youngest children.

  2. b) Susan’s horn
  3. a) 1,300
  4. a) A dwarf

Sightings of Scripture

Read some verses on courage and encourage your child to be as brave as Prince Caspian!

Color (or paint! we love watercolors instead of crayons!) the crumbling castle.

Then, cut out each flag.

Each flag has a Bible verse about bravery on it.

Glue each flag to decorate the castle. Flags can be glued to the top of a castle as is often depicted in stories, in the grass..wherever your child sees artistically fit!

Read the verses together and see what conversations they open up!

Word Search

Next up is a Prince Caspian word search!

I love incorporating word searches into our homeschool routine.

Word searches build familiarity with vocabulary, help with spelling, and encourage problem solving.

In this Prince Caspian word search, your child will find Prince Caspian themed words — the names of characters and places in the book.

If your child is listening to the audiobook (or a parent-led read aloud!), a word search can be especially helpful to aid in correct spelling and pronunciation of important names.

Prince Caspian Coloring Page

This Prince Caspian coloring page is great to work on while listening to the audiobook version of the story!

It’s also wonderful to use this page to break up your reading routine — if your child is in the middle of the book, they can take a break from their reading to work on coloring this art!

Swap out the crayons for some watercolor paint — it really does make a difference!
