Enjoy this free pdf ebook stuffed with a collection of free patterns to knit your own mouse family!

Several of these patterns are exclusive to this ebook — you won’t find them anywhere else on the blog!

This free ebook contains 7 patterns:

  • Adult Mouse Body
  • Child Mouse Body
  • Father’s Mouse’s Sweater
  • Father Mouse’s Fishing Outfit
  • Mother Mouse’s Gown
  • Sister Mouse’s play dress
  • Brother Mouse’s sweater

The patterns use two different needle sizes — 3.5mm for the mouse bodies, and 2.75mm for the clothes.

Be sure you have both straight needles and circular needles on hand!

Here’s an inexpensive but versatile set of both circular and straight needles. They’re the same needles I used for this project!

For yarn, I used bulky weight yarn for the mouse bodies, and some fun sock yarn for their clothes

It’s a great way to use up leftover sock yarn!

And there are so many fun colors and patterns to choose from!

These patterns are easy to knit and use basic knitting stitches and techniques.

Stitches Used for Mouse Family:

  • Knit
  • Purl
  • KFB (knit front and back loop) — an increase stitch
  • SSK (slip slip knit) — a decrease stitch
  • K2TOG (knit two stitches together) — a decrease stitch
  • Stockinette Stitch (knit one row, purl the next)

  1. Wow, this is really kind! I love mice with clothes on- never been able to figure that out since I don’t care for “cute” things usually. Thank you.
